She is one half of the inimitable, neo-vaudeville sensation the Wau Wau Sisters as well as a long-time veteran of La Soireé, La Clique, the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and Circus Amok. Tanya teaches and directs circus arts + theater and her work has been an award winner at the Edinburgh, Brighton and Adelaide Fringe. She also has had sold out runs at the Sydney Opera House as well as the Roundhouse in London. Awards include: Herald Angel Award, Best International Act, Best Cabaret Show & Miss Exotic World Best Duo. She has also toured with Briefs Factory, Bindlestiff Family Circus, UpUpUp, & Flotsam River Circus.
Her latest productions include The Horses Mouth, a mobile theater project built from a horse trailer. Most recently, her show Crash & Ride Cabaret / Night of Joy won the most Outstanding Outdoor Theater Production award at the Joshuas in 2023/24. She recently was on AGT’s 20th season (Simon Cowell said she was the funniest act he’d seen all year) & starred in Mavericks at the Plaza Hotel Showroom in Las Vegas. Her new show, Birds of Play, enjoyed a sold out season at the Seattle Public Theater.
